Flying to Thailand this December and January 2019 has become more pocket friendly with the Thai government announcing to waive off Visa on Arrival fee to the tourists of certain countries including India. Apart from citizens of India, this waiver has also been extended to citizens of 19 other nations including China and Taiwan. This waiver would apply for a limited period only i.e. from 1st December 2018 to 31st January 2019. A tourist can therefore save around 2000 Baht which is approximately Rs. 4400 in Indian currency if they visit Thailand on or before 31st January 2019. This announcement would definitely benefit much to those who are planning a family trip to Thailand. A group of five members of a family can therefore save around Rs 22,000 if they plan a trip to Thailand in the months of December and January. The Thai government has also imposed a condition that this waiver would only be available for those who are visiting Thailand for not more than 15 days.
